Average Rating: Rating: - Yu-Gi-Oh: not just for Nihon-jin anymore... I have played the Japanese version of this game [and I hold high hopes for the English version]. As compared to the graphics of Dark Duel Stories, the graphics of Dungeon Dice are amazing [GBC to GBA, you do the math]. The game is a bit more complex than the Duel Monsters card game, and this makes Dungeon Dice a game that seems to be geared more towards older players. With a whole slew of monsters and a new twist on gameplay, Dungeon Dice makes for a worthy addition to anyone's GBA game collection. Rating: - From cards to dice? I played this game in its Japanese format. I don't know what changes were made, but I'm a big fan of the Duel Monsters card game. It's not that the game is a difficult one to adapt to, it's just that there are so many rules on the dice and combinations that it makes the gameplay more then a little difficult to understand. Different roles of the dice gives different abilities when matched up correctly. It's not a bad game, in fact, it's easy to get hooked on it. If you've ever played a D&D type game, but with strategy and elements involved, then you should do fine. Personally, I'd rather stick with the card game, but DDM is worth it, if you can get over the rules and regulations/game play, that is. Rating: - Dungeon Dice Monsters - Based on a game from the show YuGiOh DungeonDiceMonsters is a very entertaining game. Many games get me bored quickly but the strategy and monsters of this game got me hooked. I have played the Japanese version (after fooling with it for a while to figure out what does what..i dont know japanese) and after that it was very good. It's not one of those simple little game where its always the same, each opponent has a different way of opposing you, some build strong defense, while others go straight for your heart points. Such differences make no duel the same and keep the player thinking. To sum this all up, the game rocks.
