4. System has beautiful designs and light enough to carry around!
5. An official website Nintendo.com is now available for everything you need for the N64 sequence!
6. Dusts out Sega and those other copycats of Nintendo
7. Company makes great Nintendo consoles such as Game Boy and GameCube!
8. No battery needed! Some Games Have Save game compatability to save games w/o memory packs. Beats out Memory Cards on Sony.
9. Oldest company as far as I know!
10. I, personally, beats PS1 but PS2 beats N64. But, Who cares!Overall- I wish there would be like a 10 star review but only 5, so, just to tell you that 5 stars= 100 stars!!! This game must not be missed out!
Rating: - Nintendo's first really graphically awesome system but...
Im glad I waited until someone sold me the N64 for 30 dollars instead of buying it when it came out for 200 dollars.The reason I gave it 5 stars is because it has 4 stone cold classics(Super Mario 64,Ocarina Of Time,Majora's Mask and Banjo Kazooie) but Im glad I waited until someone sold it to me for 30 bucks.Ill tell you why-there arent enough excellent games for it.When it first came out I was discouraged by the unusual controller and Mario 64 was obviously something that is great but no other games to back the system up as far as I could see.Plus I was happy with the Genesis cause I was still on my Toe Jam and Earl and Sonic The Hedgehog thing. Then the Dreamcast came out it had an amazing game(Sonic Adventure) but for some reason it got a bug or something and stopped working.Then in 2001 I was looking for a new system.I thought to myself what company has characters that are equals to Sonic and TJ&E?Why Nintendo of course.I remember the original NES had great games like the Mario series,Metroid,The Legend Of Zelda and Double Dragon.And Game Cube was clearly new generation the graphics and sound are magnificent and glorious.Plus Sonic is on the Nintendo list now,as well as Namco.And Super Mario Sunshine is a fine sequel to Mario 64 and Super Smash Bros Melee is obviously one of the best games of all time and the system has enough power so classics like the Sonic series can be emulated onto one disc although when I first bought the system those games were never gonna be rereleased and put onto the system.Hopefully Nintendo itself will follow in Sonic Teams footsteps and emulate classics like the Mario Series,The Legend Of Zelda,Metroid and F - Zero onto a disc or two.I think maybe Sonic Team and Nintendo actually do read what people put on Amazon.com so they get new ideas to please their fans.Its a possibility.
Anyways Ocarina Of Time,Perfect Dark,Super Mario 64 and Majoras Mask plus Banjo Kazooie are all classics even though I cant stand Pokemon at all.Pokemon sucks.How Pokemon got so famous is beyond me.Its way too crass and commercial and easy and boring.I cant stand Pokemon in the least.But the other games like Mario 64 more than make up for a miserable waste like Pokemon.
Rating: - Nintendo 64 VS. All the other Systems
If you are trying to decide which video game system you want to buy, Nintendo 64 is the way to go. N64's library has something for everyone. PSX and Dreamcast tend to focus more on Action, Shooter & Fighting games, whereas Nintendo is a more Family-friendly system. N64 is about quality not quantity-- it has far more quality games than any other system --Super Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Mario Kart, Snowboarding 1080, Tony Hawk, Mario Party 1 & 2, Diddy Kong Racing, Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Wave Race 64, Star Wars, and Starfox 64 are a few. N64's accesories include: Rumble Pak, Expansion Pak for better graphics, Controller Pak for saving data, and a variety of colorful controllers. I have had N64 for 4 years, and it has never let me down. The qualities to look for in a gaming system are the quality of the Games, and all the other platforms are lacking. And for a console & 2 controllers, you can't go wrong!
