Rating:  - Definiatly one of the better Disney movie tie in games
Toy Story 2 is one of the finest if not the finest animated movie ever to come out of Hollywood. So inevidably, there will be a movie tie in game. After the amazingly bad A Bugs life, Disney interactive has spent a lot of time fine tunning this and making up for past mistakes. Which is a good thing, because Toy Story 2 is a fantastic Game. Toy Story 2 for the playstation is a great first action adventure title for newbie commers to the playstatin world. The graphics are excellent, wih lots of color and clarity (They are somewhat choppy but it dosent matter). The levels are really big and interesting to go through, with lots of objects, fellow toys and things to interact with. The challenge level seems just right, with puzzles that range from easy (Mixing paint, wheee!) to the challenging (figuring out how to arrange lights so a helecopter can land). The music is also excelent, with western, sci fi themes and much more. The controls are fairly easy to learn and master and the two camera modes do a good job. On each level, your goal is to find 5 pizza planet tokens. To do so, you must collect 50 coins, compleate a time race, find the hidden token, find 5 things and fight the boss. Although it sounds like it can get repitetous real fast, for some reason it never does. Unfortunitly the game does have its share of problems. For starters the charachters in the game look incrdiably goofy. Some of the evil toys you must fight can get really annoying (Such as the evil mexican dude in the western levels). Also the overall chalange of the game isint very hard. On my first time through I died only once! That seems a bit unchallenging. The much anticipated Zurg elevator battle is dissapointing, with Zurg being easy to defeat. My biggest gripe is that most of the areas that were seen in the movie are much different in the game. For instance, the inside of the elevator shaft is only 5 stories tall and has 2 elevators, and Al's house looks nothing like it did in the movie. Overall, this is a fun game that nobody should miss.The good: Great graphics, Great levels, music and sounds,good level of challenge The bad: graphics are somewhat choppy, impossible to judge jumps And the ugly: Boss battles can be somewhat dissapointing, Levels are a lot different from the movie
Rating:  - Best Action/Adventure Game For The Playstation...EVER!
You might think this to be a little kid game automatically simply because of the movie, but believe me, it's not. It has superb graphics and excellent level layouts. I love how the levels are so expansive and that you can explore everywhere in them. It has beautiful colors and graphics, and easy controls. It's not that hard for me, but still provides hundreds of hours of entertainment even after you beat the game! With clever design and wonderful level detail, Toy Story 2 is without a doubt the best action/adventure game for the Playstation ever made.

You have free movement and many different levels. To complete each level you (Buzz Lightyear) need to collect at least one pizza planet token. (5 on each level) To collect the tokens you can: 1. find five of somthing(1st level it's bo peep's sheep) 2. race against the car 3. finding 50 coins to give to Hamm 4. defeating an enemy 5. finding the extra token Toy Story 2 is a very entertaining game for all ages. The only problem I can think of is that it is a one player game and everyone wants to use it at the same time. Other than that I think it's great and would highly recommend it.
