Rating: D:5F:5E:5 out of 5 stars - Spectacular,Stunning,Wonderful, Gave it 20 thumbs up
This is what makes Nintendo 64 so much better than Playstation. Even with the semi special Final Fantasy 7. Nintendo still manages to blow Playstation back in dust. Zelda is a game for all ages from the moment you learn how to use a controller. It features a awsome screenplay, spectacular action and battle sequences, awsome monsters like the gigantic dondongo or Vulcana the fire breathing, goron eating dragon. You play as Link, the long heroe of the Zelda series. This time you play as both little kiddie Link and adult Link. You can change through time with your ocarina of time and can smash the hell out of any baddies with weapons like, very large swords, megaton hammers, fire ice and light arrows, and your beloved hookshot. This time Links off to save Hyrule (his hood) from the demented Ganadorf, and he needs your help. So if you don't have this game, turn off Banjo Kazooi, and buy it for godsake!

Rating: D:5F:5E:5 out of 5 stars - Link's Back, And He's A-Coming In Swinging
For his birthday, my brother got Ocarina Of Time and we shared. I rated it inside my head: Graphics:10 Gameplay: 10 Sounds: 8.5 Fun:10 If I could, on this review I would put 6 stars for Zelda. The graphics are smooth, the gameplay is simple but hard, it puts up a good competition, and you receive a surplus of weapons including the Slingshot, the Hookshot, the Kokiri Sword, the Ocarina, a bow and arrows, and, of course, the Master Sword. You play in two different times: when Link is young, and when Link is a grown man. There are ten bosses which you must defeat in order to gain certain items. The main boss is Ganondorf. He, however, is not your last foe in the game. "Who is?" you may ask. Well, if I told you, it wouldn't be any fun, would it? I can only guarentee that you will spend some time on the last two foes. If you like the Zelda series, you should consider buying this game. I have played many Zelda games and the only game that comes close to it is Legend of Zelda: Link To The Past. And watch for Ocarina Of Time's sequal, Majora's Mask, this holiday season.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Four And A Half! Great Game!
An amazing game full of surprises and wonder. The Legend of Zelda is a classic for the N64 platform, and should never be missed! So for those newbies: The main character is Link. Link is a young boy whom we first meet living in The Lost Woods. The Great Deku Tree, guardian of the Kokiris (sp?) health is failing. With his last words he tells Link his destiny - and what the young hero must do. Soon Link will be traveling far and wide across the complex land of Hyrule, gathering friends and foes along the way. With the aid of the fairy Navi, the race begins to be the first to reach the Triforce, three magical powers. You'll follow Link through childhood and adulthood, and be prepared to face the many challenges ahead. S0- You've heard about it. You've read about it. You know it's the epic above all epics - not quite. A wonderful game, but lacking a complex plot. Another Zelda game = another 'save the princess'. Many people have been spoiled by amazing playstation RPG'S, but let me tell you - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarnia of Time, is a game never to be casually looked over! Good and bad awaits, so let's get going...

Start you off with the BAD (Probably what most are looking for, since the majority of the these reviews are mindlessly optomistic)Anywho-

-'Save The Princess' *YAWN*. Princess Zelda should get a body guard.

-Text heavy (I came to play a game, not read a book!).

-Navi? Hwa, hahaaa! VERY ANNOYING (Link, looklooklook, listenlistenlisten...)

-Boring side games. If you're stuck in a temple, there ain't much else to turn to...

-Many, many, little blips in the game programming (but heck, what game doesn't have them).

-ZTargeting ...

-The angles will make you dizzy and nautious.

Now to leave you off feeling GOOD:

-Amazing graphics!

-Complex world!

-Thousands of character interactions!

-Link's got tons of weapons to expeirment with!

-That good 'ol Ocarnia is always fun to mess around with!

-Stunning magical powers and a surprising end!

-Temples (levels) with amazingly complex and eye popping scenes!

-Puzzles are challenging (VERY) but not impossible...

-And finally, this game is GREAT FUN!

So, if you've stuck through me with all of this, thanks a bunch. Those of you who skipped the entire review and read the end - no problemo. Don't worry 'cause here's a summery. Amazing game, great graphics, LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! Buy it now! Don't be fooled by the old copywrite, because this Zelda game surpasses most platform games on the market today!
