Rating: - its good for long trips
This is good for those people who have a lot of time on there hands to play. It took me about a month to finally beat it and i even had the nintendo official stradegy guide. It only has 4 dungoens but there is a lot to do in between. And besides the dungeons take about and hour a pop without the stradegy guide. It took me a month but I beet it fully got all the mask everything. This is how I rate this game.Storyline:Ganon isnt in this one but you have a new kid to woory about. Its the same get special items from dungeons by beating the ooses in the and save the world, but what the heck thats what Zelda games are about and we like it. It gets a 8.5 Grachics:You can see links frecles when you look close . 6.9 Sound: Same music that you love, it get exciting when your in danger and it get happy when you beat it. 9.0 Playability:If you just bought a N64 and you dont quite no the best way to hold the controller so you can use the joystick you nmay have a little problem at the beginning. 7.8 Replay Value:If you didnt find all the masks you might want two play it again two see if you can (The final boss is alot easier if you find all the masks) Moderate
Rating: - Majora's Mask Rocks!!!!!!
Majora's Mask is SOOO AWESOME, it's no wonder why it needs the expansion pak to play. A side story immediately following Ocarina of Time, this one takes a nice (and needed) vacation from Hyrule and goes to what appears like an alternate reality version of Hyrule: Termina. The landmarks look familiar, the weapons and items look familiar, the music sounds familiar, even the people look like people from Ocarina! But beware! Although there's only 4 temples, they're harder, because you only have 72 Terminian hours (72 real minutes) to beat them. Then you start over. Save feature could be better like it was in Ocarina, but it really makes you wait until you can afford to play without interruption But instead of fighting Ganondorf, you have to fight a Skull Kid...or do you? You'll have to play the game to find out. The only thing I don't like about this game is there's no Saria, Zelda barely makes an appearance, and everybody's favorite rancher Malon is a bartender (milktender?) at a milk bar. Plus, for those that wanted Navi out of the next game...you got your wish! Unfortunately, Navi's replacement is awful. She knows nothing about the enemies and insults Link. At least Navi was kind. Anyway, great game. Definitly worth getting, although playing Ocarina of Time first will help you play this, both with controls and storyline.
Rating: - Link's at it again!!
As a big fan of the "Legend Of Zelda" series, I can assure "Majora's Mask", the sequel to the great "Ocarina of time" is a sure canditate for being game of the year:2000.If you have played Ocarina of time, Major'as Mask will be much more interesting since you meet up with almost, if not all the characters you saw back in Hyrule, the world of Termina, where this story takes place, is very much like a parallel Universe to Hyrule and Link's world... excluding that Termina will cease to exist with Link in it in 72 hours if you don't help Link stop the wierd red-eyed grinning moon from crashing, and taking Majora's Mask away from the Skull Kid. I beat the game in 7 days... 7 of the most fun days I've ever had.. The game isn't very long, unless you complete all the Bomber's notebook entries, all and all, it's about 70 hours of gameplay approx. Major'as Mask reminds me of that old movie Groundhog day, where the same day repeats itself over and over again... Link will have to live the same 3 days many times in order to save Termina's and his own hide... I give the game 5 stars altough it's kinda short, but the almost interminable sidequests brings it up... a MUST have for all N64 users, especiall if you owned Ocarina of Time...
