This game rocks. It is just like the origanal. The characters come from all the disney movies and shows. Instead of houses there are cottages, instead of Hotels they have castles. The pieces you move are also characters. (In my opinion dumbo rocks) If you are a fan of disney movies and products, this is the game for you.

If you ever wanted to introduce your children to Monopoly, this Disney Edition is the version to choose. Upon opening the board, you will be amazed at the bright colors of the spaces and the Disney characters at the center of the board. There are other Disney touches that make this game really special. Instead of buying real estate, players can buy Disney Films, from Steamboat Willie to 101 Dalmatians. There are no railroads on this board, only special Disney transportation, like Aladdin's flying carpet, Captain Hook's pirate ship, Cinderella's coach and Cruella De Vil's car. Instead of the familiar Community Chest and Chance cards, there are now Showtime and Magic Moments cards. These are really a delight to anyone familiar with Disney films, as it helps to recall the favorite moments from each film. White Rabbit's Cottage and Sleeping Beauty's Castle have replaced houses and hotels. In place of the Monopoly money, players deal in Disney Dollars, featuring Scrooge McDuck. Finally, there are eight characters from Disney movies to choose from for pawns, including: Dumbo, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, Lady and the Tramp, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, Jungle book and Pinocchio. The only spaces on the board that will be familiar to Monopoly fans are the four corners, Go, Jail, Free Parking and Go to Jail. If you loved Monopoly somewhere along your life and want to buy one for your children, this is the version to go for. Buying Snow White or Bambi is so much more fun than buying property that has no meaning to them. Overall, I would say this is the best board game I have ever purchased. I really love it! The magic of Disney really shines through here. A must have!!

I purchased this game about 1 year ago,for fun.This game was more than fun, it was a hit for my family and friends.This game was so fun, I played it every weekend. Although there is a negative side to this....... Some of the pieces can get lost, however.But I would say this is a great buy. You have to get one!!!!! It is fun and a classic game.This game is also educational because it tells you the value of money.
