Average Rating: Rating: - Home Companion Bought about 3 months ago. Over that time I have been adding to the phrase memory and have to admit, the little thing is getting to be useful and fun. I keep it on the boat and it reminds me the time to get up, when I'm running a bit late ("No time, No time"), gives me a reminder of time passing in the evening with the automatic speaking of programmed verses. Even gets a laugh or two on it's weekend schedule ("Nobody move, nobody gets hurt"). The software is cumbersome, but you can build it up a bit at a time. I only wish the manufacturer would open a site to allow sharing of "personalities" ( and add some words like "Captain" and "Master"). Low price, and a toy that develops over time. Out of the box, not so cool. But now, I would miss the weird voice surprizing me over the weekends. Rating: - Disappointing junk My son wanted a handheld like my Palm, so I puchased this online for Christmas!! What a waste!! Not only does it not have a viewing screen, but it only downloaded one thing and will not do anything else!! It is hard to hear the voice and is junk!! I figured that we had enough comp knowledge to figure it out, but it is a cute idea that doesn't work. When trying to get my money back, I had to email Amazon several times, only to be told I purchased it too long ago to get my money back.( It was purchased for a Christmas gift, and put away!!) Then was told ,after a scathing email, I would only get part of my money back. Oh well, you live and learn!! DO NOT BUY IT!! Rating: - unhappy campers My son was very excited to receive this item; it was tops on his Christmas list in 2001. However, it wouldn't hold information. Nothing seemed to work right. It kept needing extensive reprogramming. Don't even spend ten bucks on it...it's junk.
