Average Rating: Rating: - G1 Starscream reissue This is a great collectable for anyone who loved Transformers as a kid. Kids today won't recognize him but us adults sure will. Rating: - A return to generation 1 Forget educational this figure is just fun. When I got my first Starscream back in 1984 I spent weeks beating up the good guys with this figure. He is not hard to transform unlike many of the latest figures to come out (I have never understood to have a figure take 25 steps to transform unless they are just hoping a child would break it so they would have to buy another). In the cartoons this is not the same no personality Starscream as Armada. This Starscream was one of the characters that made Transformers one of the hit toylines of the 80's with his crying and me attitude. Parents buy this one for your children so you can share some of the adventures you had as children with your children. Rating: - G1 Revival Transformers were a childhood staple of imagination and great story for the 10-14 year age group. Now that I have children of my own I want them to have the toys that I had when I was younger knowing what motifs lie behind the story line. Transformers illustrate great morals and battles between good and evil that is widely overlooked in children entertainment in this day and age. Starscream is on the Decepticon side and shows how power and pride corrupt. Every child needs the enemy for their hero's to conquer. And every child needs there parents to play with them with teaching aids as such to become great people.
