Average Rating: Rating: - Good money for a bad toy! My daughter was excited about gettng Tommy. After spending the time getting tommy out of the box (tied down I guess so he doesn't go for one of his adventures lol) we got it out & my daughter immediately hugged it. When she tried to use it it is very difficult to use. The pen has to place just right & the book is not very durable. My daughter basically plays with it just because it's Tommy not because it's any fun. If your kid will just like the fact that it's a rugrat than get it otherwise trust me it will just be a toy to be thrown aside! I also don't recommend it for small children because my little one likes to chew things & I find the pen is more headed toward her mouth than the book. Rating: - Dissappointed and Took Tommie Back I bought this at Christmas and was disappointed in the fact that when you use the pen in the book to make Tommie read, you need to hold the pen exactly right or nothing happens. I had lots of trouble, so you can image how frustrating it was for a 3 year old. This is not a keeper in my books.
