Average Rating: Rating: - Well worth the price Prior to purchasing this product I had never even touched a guitar even though I had always wanted to learn to play one. It took me about 3 weeks to get through the entire course (slow actually) and by the time I had finished I was playing. I've been practicing and playing on my own since finishing the course 3 months ago and can play well enough to keep up with my dad who's played all his life. The course layout is simple and easy to follow. Each section builds on the previous sections using chords and techiques covered in those earlier sections. The animated fretboard and chord chart make the course that much easier to use. I can highly recommend this course to anyone wishing to learn to play the guitar. Rating: - This is a Great Product well worth the price This is an excellent program to get you started learning guitar. It covers many style and types of music and builds confidence in that it allows you to actually play along with the instructor. It covers the basics in different struming techniques, and fingerstyles, and is designed for those who don't know how to read music, although it includes a section for those who want to learn. The guitar tuner is worth the price alone. I finished it in a matter of weeks, and have gone on to the second in the series and also the bass program. Very user friendly. Rating: - This thing is great! I had a guitar given to me many years ago but, I had never played. After getting this software installed, I was tuned and playing in under half an hour learning the chords and the finger positions. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to learn the guitar. 2 other things on amazon I would recommend with this software: Pick the Right Guitar : The Guitar Buyer's Handbook and The Guitar Handbook. With these resources you'll be well on the way to playing like the legends.
