Average Rating: Rating: - An adult reviewer/player This is the third Nancy Drew cd game I have purchased. I have bought them in reverse order, though, with Message in a Haunted Mansion being first, then Stay Tuned for Danger, then this one. I highly recommend all of them. They are all a lot of fun, challenging and humorous in places. My only complaint on this one (which wouldn't change my opinion on how much fun it is to play) is that this is the only one out of all three that uses cartoon drawings for the characters, instead of 3D graphic animation, like the other two. The scenery is all 3D,though, just like the rest. Needless to say they improved upon this minor detail in the other two games. They are definitely must-buys! Rating: - SECRETS CAN KILL Wonderful game, clear and precise. Exciting plot and theme music, but since there are two CD's you have A LOT of switching to do! Library in high school is especially exciting and mysterious, accentuated by the music for that particular area.The cons are that you have have to be able to take plenty of notes, because there are like a dozen hidden messages in the high school on the bulletin boards ( that's right, there are more than one so make sure to look at all of them!), and of course there is a lot of switching Cd's to do. Definetly one of my fave Nancy Drew games....I certainly couldn't have beat this game without SECOND CHANCE, a fab feature of Nancy Drew games that lets you go back to a safe point in the game before you made a fatal mistake, like setting Maxine's Diner on fire by accident because you tampered with the gas pipes, which is what I did at first. I also recommend the other 6 Nancy Drew games. Full of twists, puzzles, message decoding, and detective work, this is the game for those who just can't resist a challenge ( and is a fan of the famous sleuth).Intriguing game, perfect for those with an inquisitive mind, young or old. .... Rating: - Incredible game for girls Finally a game that not only is designed for girls but is awesome too. My daughters (ages 10, 12 and 14) started playing it and within six hours had about 30 PostIt notes all over the sides of the monitor keeping track of clues to the solving the case. They finally solved the case after about 20 hours of intense teamwork playing and now play the game over again with each of their friends. The installation was so easy my 10 year old did it in about ten minutes on her own. The quality of the game is great and some of the graphics in the game are so real they look like photographs. I just ordered the new Nancy Drew game, "Stay Tuned for Danger" for their Christmas gift and another copy of "Secrets Can Kill" for their nieces Christmas gift.
