Average Rating: Rating: - Erasure is my #1 favorite group of all time! This new single from Erasure is excellent. I own most of the music recorded by them, including their 2001 Loveboat and all the singles from that album. Solsbury Hill sounds great Erasure-style. I also ordered the DVD single (import). I can't wait to receive Other People's Songs.. Rating: - Other People's Songs Never Sounded Better! Needless to say I am a long time Erasure fan and I am thrilled to see them back in United States! After Madonna's Maverick label dropped them after the Cowboy CD - it seemed unlikely the US would see them again. If you get a chance check out their CD "Loveboat" - only released in Europe - it is classic Erasure in top form. As for Solsbury (the Single), it is simply a fun incredible remake of a great original song from Peter Gabriel. It has the standard Erasure twists and turns that make the song nothing less than pure fun. The CD single contains some other great remixes of Solsbury Hill, two "new" Erasure songs, as well as two other remixes of songs off the new CD. As a bonus the US release has a short film featuring Andy Bell. Spend the money and get this single and the new CD. Other Peoples's Songs is released next week! Rating: - whoopie! Great new single from Erasure, I really like this cover, loved the original and its great to hear it in erasures unique bubble-gum synth sound. LOVE IT!
