Rating: - The ONLY choice for anyone who wantsNintendo gaming coverage
Nintendo Power is the official magazine from Nintendo. Unlike other gaming magazines, this game only covers Nintendo products (Gamecube and GBA), similiarly to Xbox Magazine and Playstation Magazine. This magazine is very "kid-friendly" which is what Nintendo is sometimes thought of. (Nintendo does make "mature" games, of course, but they are not talked about as much in this magazine as other games.)Some of the features is Players Pulse, a section that answers letters, Epic Center, which talks about RPG's and such, PokeCenter, Pak Watch, which talks about upcoming games, Arena, where you can send in your top scores, Classified Info, where you find codes and tricks for games, and several other sections. Nintendo Power has lots of reviews, but it also is a lot more heavy on gaming strategies/walkthroughs compared to some magazines i've seen. This would be good if you are the type with lots of games or if you don't like buying player's guides for your games. This magazine has been progressively getting bigger, too--much bigger than some of the gaming magazines. For example, my last issue (November) was 250 pages. Also included is posters and sometimes other bonus stuff, including a subscriber's only January Bonus Issue. If you are a Nintendo player and are not interested in info on other games, then this magazine is the best choice for you!
