Cosmo is an excellent magazine for when you want to just check your brain at the door.
Sex, career, fashion and relationships are explored in every issue. Generally what I get out of reading Cosmo is just plain fun. I grew up a tomboy, and only recently have I started having fun being a girl (in my mid-twenties). Cosmo is a fun way to read about makeup and relationship advice. Most of it I either take with a heaping grain of salt, sometimes the advice columns are downright ridiculous (and make me laugh. What I don't get is folks putting down a magazine that is basically meant to be fluff. Live a little, and read your Cosmo!

Cosmo is a fun women's magazine - it has a rep of being all about sex, but it's really not! Sure, there are the steamy confessions, and Cosmo's "Kama Sutra".... OK, there's lotsa naughty... but it also has empowering articles about life's problems, articles about real-life issues, fun celebrity gossip, fashion, and beauty.
It's a fun magazine, and I reccommed it!
Rating:  - Teases but Doesn't Teach about Sex
For the past 9 years I've been on a personal quest to educate myself about the finer points in Lovemaking and Sensuality, so naturally I've been drawn to peruse the pages of many a Cosmo magazine. They always run such provocative headlines about sex on their cover! Unfortunately I must report that although the headlines always make their sex articles seem like "The Answer I've Been Looking For All My Life", the actual sex tips and advice these articles give is unfailingly a let down. They tease and titilate you, but never really teach you any techniques or tricks that will have any kind of REAL IMPACT on your lovelife. I say this after having produced instructional videos such as "New Sex Now: Life's Ultimate Pleasure," "Goddess Worship" and "New Free Sex" Step-by-Step System for Super-Sensual Lovemaking. I have gone out with several professional Tantra Goddesses over the years, and learned very advanced secrets of sensual lovemaking and sacred sexuality from them, so please believe me that I know what I'm talking about here. I honestly, from the bottom of my heart, recommend that you check out the book "9 Free Secrets of New Sensual Power" instead of subscribing to Cosmo, because at the end of the day you will learn things in this book that will CHANGE YOUR SEX LIFE FOR THE BETTER IN WAYS YOU NEVER DREAMED POSSIBLE, whereas if you read every page of every issue of this magazine you will end up feeling like you ate a big tub of popcorn -- full, but totally unsatisfied, and a little guilty.
