Average Rating: Rating: - Well, they seemed good... I bought these knives about 1 month ago, and initially loved them. They were a great set for the price -- the knives were very sharp and sturdy. Just this past week, however, I noticed that a couple of the knives had developed rust! Obviously, this shouldn't be happening to high-carbon stainless steel knives. I will be sending these back! Rating: - a note on carbon steel knives i don't have experience with this specific knife set, but i wanted to point out in response to the last review that you will have rust with a high carbon knife if it isn't cared for properly, but if you dry it immediately after washing you won't have any problems. In return, you get a knife that will hold a far sharper edge, and will remain sharp far longer. Rating: - Satisfied I purchased a set of these knives a couple weeks ago from a William and Sonoma Outlet. I have used them on three occasions. All were very sharp. I am completely satisfied. Just be sure to handwash them and dry after each use. This will ensure that they will not rust. Other reviewers have indicated that their knives rusted.
