Average Rating: Rating: - BRILLIANT Book for Re-discovering and Re-covering ME! I first heard about this book 6 months ago, then again 2 months ago (synchronicity!). Both times I'd gotten to a point in my life where I was asking the question, "There is much more to me than who I am now but WHAT? " This book has quite changed my life. Today I know what my fears/blocks are. Where they stem from. HOW TO WORK WITH THEM and HOW TO FREE MYSELF FROM THEM. Today, I have the freedom to be Anita the person as well as wife,mother, sister and daughter. I found the Morning pages, Artists Dates and Tasks liberating to do. When one week is busier than others, I "extend" my week to complete my Tasks at my own pace. If you're looking for "YOU" then this is the place to start! I hope you have as much fun as I am.... My thanks to Ms. Cameron for having the courage to write this INCREDIBLE book! Rating: - This changed my life Whether that's a good thing for me or for you remains to be seen. Seriously, at forty I was someone who thought he should have been a writer. Now I am a writer. I might've found my way eventually (although what were the chances that I would solve a problem I'd been wandering around for twenty-five years?) but Ms Cameron knew a method that was very effective for me. Don't let the new-age rhetoric fool you. The center of this book is a rock-solid practical approach to becoming an artist in any field, even certified public accounting. If you're not comfortable with th mystic stuff, don't worry about it. Just try what she asks cause that's why you bought the book. Rating: - Make it Happen This book surprised me as I thought it would be something other than it was. I loved what it turned out to be even if it was not what I expected! The journalling was a great tool and it ties in with a class we will be having for another book as well as a class on Divine Design. It is a great primer for the topic. Also look into her newer book that is just being released in hardback. It is a sequel to this book. Collect them both; they are worth it!
