Average Rating: Rating: - Missing Chapters I recieved this book 10/14/02 and it was missing chapter 27 and parts of chapter 26 and 28. Watch out! If you don't need to know thermo maybe that's ok. Rating: - GREAT book!! I used only this book and passed my EIT first attempt :) studied practically for 10 days and got through. It is THE book to use to refresh your calculus, physics and other topics....but plan to studying for the exam for atleast a month to be better prepared. Either I was lucky that day or the test was easy for me, dont know, but all I can say is work all the exercises and the sample test papers two days before the exam. All the Best! Rating: - Better than most of the other books on the market This book is more concise and gives much better problems and simulates the test and utilizes the Reference Handbook better than one of its counterparts. If you are to choose between Fundamentals of Eng. Review by Potter (ISBN 1-88101844-X) and Lindburg's book, buy Lindburg's book, if you are serious about preparing and passing. He follows the Fundamentals of Engineering Reference Manual and prepares you so you feel confident with your knowledge, and preparation. But give yourself time at least a month to prepare.
