Average Rating: Rating: - Hercules This playard had everything I wanted and needed but it was incredibly hard to fold! It says "easy fold" but it took all of my husband's strength to actually press the "easy fold" buttons. If you are planning on always keeping it up then I'm sure it would be fine, but if you plan to actually take it somewhere or use it without your husband (or someone who is incredibly strong) then I recommend buying a different one. Rating: - GREAT - So Far! I am 2 weeks away from my due date so we haven't actually used the Pack N' Play with the baby yet, but I had to comment on the ease of set up and breakdown. After reading the negative reviews here regarding the difficulty with the "Easy Fold" buttons, I have to admit I was a little apprehensive, however this was the one piece of baby equipment my husband insisted we purchase so who am I to argue? We both agree that the Pack N' Play is a little on the heavy side, but I think the convenience will make up for that one shortfall. As far as assembly (and dis-assembly), I'm wondering if the other reviewers that cannot depress the buttons received defective merchandise. As I said before, I am 38 weeks prego and I had absolutely no problem setting up and taking down the play-yard. Granted, it was awkward the very first time, but as long as you follow the directions and practice before you actually have to use it, it's a breeze. You should know that the canopy that comes with this is not made to be used as a sun-shade, just in case you had plans to use this outside. Overall, I can see the Pack N' Play becoming an indespensible piece of baby equipment and I'm very happy with the ease of use so far. Rating: - Great for 2 story house...and for road trips! My husband and I bought this so we would have a place to change our son and put him down for a nap when we needed to be downstairs. We also needed it for the same reasons for overnight trips to the Grandparents house, and we will probably take it with us camping and to the lake this summer. It was easy to assemble and the fabric is attractive. The reason I chose this model is that the bassinet stretches the entire length of the play yard; the others I saw were only 1/2 bassinets. The changing "table" is easy to remove, easy to clean, and is a nice contoured shape so he can't roll off. The dome cover has little hanging toys that he likes to look at while I'm changing him. He is 9 weeks old now so I haven't used it yet as a traditonal play pen but I think I'll be happy; I am so far! The only complaint is that the padding is scratchy, but I'm used to using 100% cotton fabrics, so I just put a blanket down when he is laying in the bassinet. I've never had any problems getting him to sleep in it. I also like the wheels so I can move it around easier. It folds up and packs into a bag easy and fits into the trunk of our car. I'm pretty satisfied with this one, and believe me, it took me about 5 months to review all the models and make a decision!! :)
