Average Rating: Rating: - Essential for peaceful, long showers and baths We received this as shower gift and were amazed at how much we used it. Our daughter would rock in it as long as we needed her to and this made it the best place for me to put her safely every day during my shower. Its small size made it able to easily fit in our small bathroom and I was able to carry it with her in it to her room when i was done. When she was little the white noise of the moter lulled her to sleep and when she got to 4-5 months the lights and hanging toys kept her occupied. She is a large baby and we used it until she literally could not fit in it anymore. Rating: - A must for mothers of twins, but keep box I bought two of these swings instead of having the expense and space consumption of a typical swing and two bouncy seats. I was initially concerned about the possible expense of batteries. However after almost one months usage with twins I am still on our initial set of batteries. (I did purchase rechargeables and a recharger just in case.) Both of my babies love their swing and I haven't found the sound of the motor that excessive as some other reviewers. It could be improved on with the option of music without lights, as my little boy is flash sensitive from grandparents photography. Also would be better with some sort of removable head support for newborns. My little girl ends up sideways in the seat even with the lap restraint. All in all a good product for those with space constraints. UPDATE: I still love the swing overall, but have had to exchange two of them. The speed switch went out on one and I took it back for exchange. The one I exchanged for had the horrible grinding sound as others had mentioned. I took it back also and made the salespeople assemble the next one and test in front of me before I had to make a THIRD trip. Glad I did, it was horrible too. Finally, I took home their display as it was the only one they had that worked properly. I still am pleased with my other original swing. In my many assemblies of this product, I have found that it sometimes requires two people to breakdown the base---big problem unless hubby is always around or your seven week old has a Herculean grip unlike my two. Rating: - Great Product! I absolutely love this product. My four-month-old baby has GER (an infant heartburn condition) and the swing is great because, unlike other swings I have seen, it reclines at a 45 degree angle and elevates his feet which helps control reflux. The swing action also works to entertain him and settle his stomach. There are no hard plastic supports in the seat which makes it the most comfortable option for sleeping at night with the addition of a head-support crescent pillow which is does not come with the product. The mechanism makes quite a bit of noise, but my baby seems to like it. The toys included are actually interesting to him and well-made and he enjoys the lights and songs. He is a very picky baby and loves this swing so much that after owning it for two days, he starts laughing when he sees me start to set it up. It folds up and transports easily...I don't leave home without it.
